SwiftScript is a genuine fountain pen with a retractable nib you deploy with a click like a ballpoint, eliminating caps, caps rolling away, or caps getting lost in your bag. Click again to seal and stash it, so you can write with true fountain-pen flair and then tuck it away without interruption.
Open with one thumb: a spring-loaded nib emerges without twisting a cap, delivering a writing feel comparable to a Lamy nib and a ballpoint’s rapid click.
Monitor ink at a glance with a transparent barrel that reveals the cartridge level, so you’re never left guessing mid-sentence.
Keeps ink ready between uses through an airtight silicone chamber that seals the nib when retracted. Leave it tucked in a bag for days and it writes on the first try.
Two Ingenious Engineering Details That Make a Click-Open Fountain Pen Possible
- Silicone sealing chamber inside the barrel clamps around the nib the moment it retracts, blocking air even after days unused.
- A precision ink regulator behind the nib controls flow from full cartridge to empty for a smooth, even line.
Why journalers and note-takers are making it their go-to pen
Fans of fountain pens who hate caps—journalers, bullet journaling enthusiasts, and meeting-note takers—find it writes like the fountain pen they love, without the cap hassle. "I thought it was just another gimmick pen, but it’s now my daily essential. The click is quick enough for meetings, and the ink line truly has character." — Marcus T. "I bought it after losing my Lamy’s cap. Six weeks later, it hasn’t dried out once — even though it stays at the bottom of my bag." — Priya R.

Common questions
- Is this a genuine fountain pen or a fountain-like ballpoint? It is a true fountain pen with a real medium nib and authentic liquid ink cartridges; the retractable feature is the capless mechanism.
- Will the ink dry out if unused for several weeks? No — the silicone sealing chamber keeps the nib moist when retracted, and it writes immediately after a break.
- Does it leak inside a bag or pocket? Retract the nib to seal; the seal locks the ink inside.
- What nib size comes with the pen? Medium (M), suitable for journaling, meetings, and everyday writing on standard notebook paper.
- Can I refill with my own ink colors? Yes — it accepts standard short international ink cartridges, so you can use any color once the included blue cartridges run dry.
Click. Write. Click. That’s all there is to it. SwiftScript is the result of questioning why a fountain pen must have a cap. Pick your color, insert a cartridge, and write the way you always wanted.
